Meetings:
The following is the schedule for this month’s board meeting place,
date and time. The third Tuesday of the Month. The meeting
is set as follows:
Date:Tuesday August 19 Time: 7:00PM
Place: at Dennys 436 just south of 17-92 in Casselberry
Date:Tuesday September 16 Time: 7:00PM

We generally will not allow guests to present their cases or participate in Board discussions, however we welcome guests to attend to see how we operate and deliberate.
If you have a case you would like us to take, you MUST send us a letter with copies of any relevant documentation. (DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION. We can not be responsible for it!) The Chapter Intake Committee will review your letter and make a ecommendation to the Board of Directors. This recommendation will be to accept, reject or further investigate.
The recommendations are reviewed and acted upon by the Board of Directors
at its monthly meeting.
Notices are mailed to those individuals whose cases have not been accepted.
Those whose cases have been accepted or require further investigation are
contacted by phone.
The ACLU of Central Florida does NOT provide legal advice. When we accept cases we refer them to volunteer attorneys. Until such time as we accept a case, the individual with the case is responsible for protecting his/her own interest. We have no paid staff, and depend on volunteers for all of our work.
